Thanks guys. My son is visiting, arrived about midnight. I showed him this, and he didn't pick the one I thought he would. He likes the third one hanging from the left, the heavy oak with the bark left on the grip.
It has only cured for about three months after soaking in Pentacryl for a week. Original diameter was 2", so I am afraid to work on it much this summer. Maybe I should just chance it, get it shaped up and re-soak it, then give it a month more to dry, and then oil and wax it.
