BTW - mixed 2 1/2 tubes each of (J-B Weld) epoxy and hardner, I was just guessing but lucky. I put most of that into the brass, inserted the stick, and just a tiny bit squeezed out the top. The reason that it took that much is that the ID of most of the brass shell casing is larger than the ID of the thick brass that is notched at the top - I had to avoid drilling into the notch just inside the cartridge rim.

Looks like the tip will be a fine anchor point. J-B Weld is good stuff.

Hoping the recent tornado didn't put you at hazard.

So far so good. The storms may come tonight, but so far Tulsa is overcast with no breeze. Thanks for the concern.
