Rare South Alabama snow, looks like more to come.

Wish I could say that snow was a rare event here in NW Indiana but that is definitely not the case. We are in for 1"-3" tonight and lake effect may turn that total into at least double in some areas down wind of Lake Michigan. We have had such a mild start to this winter with warm weather in November and the 1 st week of December I'm afraid it will be snowing around here on Easter!

I hope you don't need to leave the house. Around here a couple inches is enough to bring traffic to a stop.

Can't believe you guys have had snow before we have. Weather guy says Saturday into Sunday we'll be getting 4-6" at the last estimate, so not too bad. Those double digit storms are the ones that really get me.

Just my imagination or is that a nice old John Deere Model A in that first pic?
