In June of this year I found two rotting limbs under a black locust tree nearby and brought them home, wondering if they'd ever amount to anything. Picture 1 is the day I found them and the completed cane today, stored in the cane stand for my grandkids to fight over some day.
It's a keeper, for certain. I am very pleased with how this turned out.
