Strolling through the town the other day i just sat down watching the windmill working them the stump (our local church St. Botolpths) started peeling there bells ,its still a good sign that the craft of peeling is still carried on although very few young people are doing it now and its dying out.

The reason i mention this i got my woodcarving magazine today and it has christmas tree hangers article in it conisting of bell ringing included santa claus ,monks, choir boys etc, so took some quick photos for anyone who may be interested in it.

Those look like fun projects for the holidays. This is the first year in some time I have not put in a effort to make a group of ornaments. Just have not had the time to put in to it. Here is another book that has a group of good project.

Woodcarving illustrated has some of the best step by step projects out there. There are a couple Santa ornaments in this one I have been using as a guideline to the pieces I have been making.

I also am to busy to do anything .I was thinking about a nativity scene that my daughter got for me , but not a fan of folk art but liked the idea and will try to redesign the figures into a Art Nouvue style

At the moment I am struggling to find time to finish of the okia and the witches heart /horoscope signs
