Welcome aboard! My two grandkids are now six and eight years old. They're on their second walking sticks now, although I made them. You're way ahead of me, interesting your kids in making theirs. My grandson now has his own "work station" in my garage, where he is building things, learning to use tools, learning the hard way what works and what doesn't. It's all fun.

I look forward to seeing your progress.

The cold weather has slowed me down, both with shaping and sanding in the unheated garage, and with finishing. But I'm figuring out ways to overcome the challenges.
