This is Brazilian hardwood 2x2 don't know what spices it is all I know the packing list said Brazil I'm going to cut them down and make cane shafts and handles out of them. This wood seems to be very hard and heavy.

Should be interesting. I've read that the big difference between tropical woods and those from temperate regions is that the tropicals hove no noticeable growth rings. One reason they are prized by wood workers.

You might want to wear a mask while you're working with them. I've worked with a couple tropical woods that had really irritating dust.
