Shank from Alaska - Osage Orange "handle" picked up off the ground here locally. I love when I find pieces that others might overlook or think "kindling" yet I see a potential handle.

If all goes as planned this will be presented within a week to another of those "preacher-types" - who rides a Harley. And has a beard. And wears leathers.

Hey! He asked for a cane - so this is the best I can do.

He's a great man.

I love when people ask for my canes.

(My family had no choice nor voice.)

IF I continue making canes I'll need more sticks. I'm now down to two and both of them will require a lot of work.

My brother who lives in TN has promised me a box full when the weather allows.

His 50 acre woods has tons-o-mosquitos and snakes.

I don't blame him for waiting.
