I found both the "handle" and the shank laying on the ground and they were a mess. But I've been at this gig a while and recognized the potential - am glad today I brought them home and spent those countless hours working on this one. I seriously doubt it would have lasted another year...but now it's been redeemed and hopefully be of some use to someone some day.
