Is this the ugliest stick ever made? probably not but it must be close! I got it from my local boot fair for £5, and I only paid that because the shank, after all the thick nasty varnish has been taken off is worth a bit more than that.

I don't know.. It might be nice after a bit of work. Kinda looks like someone needed a prop for a Halloween costume and decorated one of granddad's old sticks!

that's a good point! Someone might have been very proud of that stick. And I can't say that my first sticks were much better.

totally agree with you its pretty awful someone hasn't any colour sense but it may look okay if stripped

Good buy, done it myself - chuck the topper and use the shank - well spotted.
