change up

I usually take my daily walks with my ole favorite 'Black Amber" see pic below, but today for some reason I decided on another, my Hames Knob. I was surprised in the difference I found on the journey. It was heavier from the top but very comfortable in the palm of my hand, and as easy to maneuver as is my favorite but all that aside, I got a thumbs up approval from a pickup driver passing by and a comment from a another walker saying it was a beautiful stick. I never got that much notice of my sticks before! Maybe I need to make change ups more often!
