I've not even attempted to make a walking stick nor cane since Oct 2016 - and that one, once completed was so ugly and crooked I donated it to Salvation Army, hoping someone who really needed it would take it home. I currently have ONE stick - and should soon at least attempt something with it but these days all my spare time is devoted to two major projects. Boxes of blocks, misc size and shapes plus toy trucks - being donated to the children's dept of the local hospital for kiddos to play with and then take home. I am finding more and more I really enjoy giving stuff away and bringing smiles to faces - especially little faces.

My wood working is pretty variable as well. Right now I'm making 60 cross necklaces commemorating the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
