The pic is of a different kind of carving and stick making.
Carving ( filleting ) 4 dozen fish and turning them into fish sticks!
My new neighbor has gotten me back into ice fishing. Spent yesterday out on the ice on a local river backwater and between the two of us we iced 83 fish.
The fish are bluegills, one of North America's most prevalent panfish. They are indeed true to the moniker panfish as they are delicious once they hit the frying pan!
