I was out cutting sticks yesterday and went to cut this privet hedge and notice it was dead so I cut it anyway and it is sold as a rock it been dead for quite sometime but had already seasoned and no rotten places I'm working on one know pictures when finished.

Nice find Randy. I have never worked with privet, is it tough? Its a hard and very dense wood but not all that difficult to work with I'm using a utility knife to work on the handle.
