Hey everyone. My name is Al and I just signed up for the forum. I've been making sticks for about 17 years on and off. I have a degree in Environmental Biology and I use my knowledge of ecology when I do my carvings.


My favorites to make are Moses sticks, but I also love to do shorter sticks as well as canes.I've made some nice sales this year and right now I'm rebuilding my depleted collection to get some more out there.

Anyways, I'll get some pictures of my work into a thread in the near future and I hope to make a few friends here with similar interests. Cheerio for now.
