With all the ghosts and goblins coming around here for treats in a few weeks I thought I'd whittle up something for the season. This little project was a fun way to spend the afternoon. It took longer to paint than it did to carve. Got the idea from a child's costume at the local drugstore.

I used piece of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 6" pine, a detail knife and a v-tool. Any little chunk of scrap wood laying around would do.

Looks good MJ! Reminds me of the guy a little ways down the road. He usually carves Bears n stuff, but, Tis the season so he's doing wood pumpkins, some about 3 to 4 feet high. Gotta stop in there n pick his brain one day, though I think he carves with a chainsaw.
