It is halloween. We had three or four groups of kids come to the door. There was a lull when we noticed Mandy, our Aussie, This is how she spent the next two hours She did not bark until some one was at the steps and then just one or two barks. We put her leash on when kids came and she would greet the kid wagging her nub. Then when we shut the door she would go back and sit just watching the door until the next group came. As it got later it was longer between the visits but she just sat staring at the door waiting. It was so funny.

We miss our old Rotttie, been gone about a year now, just not same around here without a big dog. Since part of my retirement plan was to travel in the RV more, just not practical for us to get another pooch at this time.
