Hello All

I have been a stick maker for several years. I work with Horn and Antler, carved and plain. I demonstrate the craft at many shows in East Anglia. I have now retired so I have more time to make sticks.

My main aim has always been to help others to make walking sticks and keep the craft going. Dave

Hello Dave,
I am just a stick user and have signed up so that I can contact you as you are in East Anglia.
I am in Bocking just above Braintree and I was wondering if you are near enough for me to ask if you would be willing to assist me with a repair or replacement of a brass ferral on a rather nice blackthorn stick my wife bought me recently.
I this is not something you could assist with no problem. But I thought it worth asking. I would rather not risk botching an attempt by myself.

welcome to the forum, Chris.
unfortunately, Dave was "Last seen Dec 15, 2018" and hasn't been back since.
you might end up doing the repair yourself. If you want, you could post some photos here and maybe some of the members can assist you with the repair. (worth a shot, anyway).
