Greetings from a newbie. Found the site when searching Google for a draw knife - which I just received. The users on the site gave good info on a reasonably priced knife and I bought it based on their recommendations. Great advice. Thank you! I'm just a hobbyist. My sticks are for family and friends. Basic but useful. No carving yet. Mostly yellow birch with cord-wrapped handles, alpine spike tips, stained and beeswax finish. Looking forward to learning more. Now, looking into a shave horse or something similar.

It was from Highland Woodworking. 9" straight. German made. Looking forward to trying it. Was thinking about the Rockwell Jaw Horse in a pinch until I can find time to make a shave horse. I've seen some others on here have used it.
