If you get a chance, maybe post some close ups of your faves. The wood shapes themselves are worth admiring.

The great composer and performer, J.S. Bach was once asked how one might play like he did. His answer was simple. "Practice." Same goes for carving. If you want to, just work at it.

Welcome to the site .

Its not just about carving its about stick making and a large range of sticks and shanks are here.

Lot of different approaches and ideas ,some good some bad depends on your piont of view, but mostly helpful people

The most funny about your comment and Bach, I'm a musician since the age of 6 (52 now) and make music my way of living...till I decide to take a brake in 1999. I was in Jazz and Western swing...but J,S,Bach was my heros.....the world is so smalle sometimes....
