Hello I'm Jesse. I have caught a bug i think or a need to make things. I have a friend in Ohio who makes knives one day looking at his things I said to my self i need to make something.

Then I found Mike Stinnett's Youtube channel and it was done.....walking sticks was the answer. So after viewing his channel for a few weeks i went out got some wood and some tools 3 sticks later I found this site I would show my photos here but i think I'll put them in the walking stick section . . . . Hope you guys take a look there. I know I have a long way to go and could use any tips or thoughts on improvements.

Hey! Welcome aboard! I'm still learning myself, in fact, I learn something new here almost everyday! And it's not just stick making. There's info on types of wood, different uses of sticks, history lessons and norsons great stories. Heck, sometimes I come on just to say good morning and talk about my day! You're gonna love it! Oh and by the way, I've never seen anyone here refer to themselves as an "expert" we all learn from each other.

Thanks for all the greetings and nice comments.

Working on another stick. A snake on a stick I know cliche but this one is kicking my butt a little bit.

I got a new multi-tool that oscillates and it will wear you out.

A new razertip wood burner coming from Canada should be here on Friday so I am ripping through the rough out stage of this stick hoping to be on the details when it gets here.....

Super wishful thinking :phew:

and again thanks for the welcomes

and No more tool buying for me for at least two weeks.
