HONEY DO's have caught up to me

Well it looks like the stick and carving shop in my yard is temporarily going to become the spring time home repair and honey do headquarters. A sad but temporary state of affairs. My bride of many years has suggested that this should happen sooooon! They do have a way of emphasizing the urgency of these type of activities. So nothing new will be made for a few weeks. But I will stop in to see what you all are doing.

Sadly the cold hard facts of matrimony we all have to endure. Maybe you can sneak off to the Carving Barn when it rains.
There's projects I need to start on this spring too.

If you are a brave man reciprocate by carving in the house, you never know the good lady may want you to move back into the workshop. :)

There is a fine line between brave and foolish. I'm sure bringing my work inside for more than the occasional glue job would cross that line.

Looks like I'm joining you on the honey-dos. We've started ripping out the living room carpet so we can lay in a fir floor instead.

Rodney
We're doing the floor in stages (we have to live in the construction zone). So far we have about 5 ft of the living room's carpet ripped out. Tomorrow we'll rip the carpet out of the hall and start laying the new floor. After that section is done we'll play Tetris with the furniture and continue with the next section.

Should be fun. I like remodeling projects and we've put this one off about 8 years now.
