I/we "found" these drawer pulls at Hobby Lobby yesterday. I think they'll make very smart cane handles. I believe I can drill a hole to fit the bolt, secure it in place with some epoxy and perhaps do some hand-chisel work on the top of the Black Locust sticks to fit.

Yep....this is going to be fun.
