Had to join two pieces of huckleberry to get the length I needed then put on a maple ball to make the handle.

I cut a piece of 3/8 allthred 4 inches long for the shaft and another piece of 3/8 allthred 3 1/2 inches for the ball and used gorilla glue to attach
