Spring is coming! The Snow is Gone! (at least for now) And a walk through my back woods was very therapeutic!

In The Following Pic you will see one of the trees I marked with an orange ribbon for later harvest! Some of the sticks I had marked got tore up by deer.

Is that a maple?
I don't think so -- I usually only mark the Oak, Elm, Ironwood, Locust (both honey and black) and the like -- also a few nut trees. I don't remember exactly which this one was -- I told my wife after I marked all of these last fall that I should have also marked what they were -- I do mark their kind when I harvest them and hang them to dry.

A lovely place to walk through and ponder on what or how to do things if anything very nice scene
Thank You -- we like it! We maintain several trails through our woods, it's a great place to walk/hike!
