Walnut with cherry spacers and endcaps. Also added nickel silver spacers to spice it up a little. The lighter sapwood on the right side of the handle gives it a nice touch.
Working on it in my spare time, it typically takes me about 2 weeks. Actual time spent making chips and sanding dust is 6 to 8 hours depending on the amount of ornamentation. This was probably closer to 8 hours.
