Those are nice. Love spoons are great projects for learning carving. You can start with simple designs and grow in to ones like you have shown. They make nice gifts also.

Another idea to put off till later for me. I do like his idea of making a set of spoons based on different tree leaves and they would make a nice couple of salad servers.
