to fit/suit the 3M 461-000 SandBlaster™ Detail /Finishing Sanding Tool.

These handy little sanding tools are perfect for my hand sanding, yet I cannot find the replacement pads/paper.

I am hoping by posting here someone may have already established a good/reliable source. . . . other than buying sheets of sandpaper and then cutting to size.

I haven't noticed those when I've been out shopping. Doing an online search, it appears they are mostly sold as an industrial quantity. #M sells them online by the case, 12 pads. From their description, ordinary sandpaper cut to size would not work as well.

Maybe time to think about something else. Rasps don't conform to surfaces the way that those pads would, but they have the advantage of lasting decades. Then a finish w. a scraper will get the wood down as fine as 800 grit paper.

Using a rasp will be a good option once the weather allows me to return working in the garage.
