Hello there! I live in Rhode Island and enjoy making sticks found on hikes. We have cedar on one trail that grows right next to the bay I like it be because it’s straight up in down. I’ve tried a bunch of ways no finish to walnut stain some cherry others just wax. Learning as a go for years.
