I have been wanting palm skew chisel with a 70 degree angle. for some time. Something that would reach in to tight angles.for clean up and finishing work.As a early birthday gift to me I had a friend make me one. It works great.

Correction it is a 20 degree angle an the skew. Not sure how or why i put 70.must be the gray hair.

Hi Randy, that is one very beautiful tool. You are very fortunate to have a friend capable of making tools of that quality. I loved working with skews and kiridashi, the Japanese version. When I was carving I tried my hand at knife making in order to meet my special needs. There were several versions of skews and the number of unique, if bizarre, knives.
