I have been wanting a bandsaw all my woodworking life and I finally got one today! It is a year and a half old Grizzly G0555 Ultimate 14" bandsaw with less than 5 hours on it and it looks brand new. I can hardly believe how good it looks and that I got it for a little more than half of what a new one would cost me.

Great looking saw. If I could only have one saw it would be a bandsaw. I have a shop smith with the band saw attachment. I use the band saw much more than the table saw. You will get a lot of use from it.

Congrats! Bandsaw next on my list. Been using a sabresaw not the best when cutting out pieces that need to be straight

couldnt do without my bandsaw. great for cutting blanks rady to use.

I also cut out the shapes for punch and judy heads on it.one of my favortie tools. I also use a ash collecter on it and fix this to a vacum cleaner its so good at catching all the sawdust .It saves so much time in cleaning the machine

Congrats on your new machine! A bandsaw is a great time saver, especially for working with rough stock.

Be careful with it. Mine is the one tool in the shop that I've managed to injure myself on.

Congratulations, Gordon. Now that is what I call a great deal. Please be very careful. I was lucky enough to have avoided having accidents with my power equipment. I was always extra careful because of my weaker hands.
