I am new to stick making. Been a falconer for over 25 years but my knees tell me it is time to slow down and so I am going to attempt this hobby. Still fly the birds but not as much.

Welcome! It's a good hobby and it doesn't take a lot of special tools to get started. There are a lot of talented makers here that can answer any questions you may have.

There is a workshop for members at;-

Christ Hospital School

Wragby Road

Lincoln

this Sunday March 19th starting around 10am

there are a helpful bunch and could answer any questions you have .and will cover anything from rams horn to carving, stick straightening etc

Next workshop is on the 21st May same place

The AGM is being held at the Golf Hotel, The Broadway, Woodall Spa on April 9th from 11am till around 2pm

your birds look good hope you have some good photos you never know good photos side views front view and top views difficult to get
