Nice shop made sharpener. I made mine based on the same principle. I used the Tormek spares to convert my "Aldi" purchased wet grinder for knife making and sharpening.

Cheers I'm thinking of making a jig that will hold my mains drill which can be locked off at low speed.

I use a standard factored adjustable bench clamping drill holder and bought a reasonable priced speed reducer from ebay, works well.
