I'm not entirely new. I was on here for a little while about a year ago and then life led me away. Now I'm back again to see what is new. I see some old faces and some new ones.
I mostly make canes. You know, the 36" ones that usually have a handle. I have a dislike for those metal, medical supply things that people use when they have a disability. They give sticks a bad name. Whether or not a person is required to use a cane, they should have pride in showing some style. Whenever I see someone using a homemade stick, even if it's not very well done, I try to go out of my way to compliment them.
