You make a nice stick. While I do not use a mill, I do use power carving tools in my process. Welcome to the site. Most of us do not commercially manufacture one type of stick. For us it is about the creative process that gose in to each individual shick or cane when we are carving or using natural shapes.

Absolutely hit the nail, Randy!

It's like asking who is the real woodworker, Norm Abram (power tools galore) or Peter Follansbee (no power tools at all.) It's about the creation of something useful.

Thanks for responding I would like to say they are still handmade even know no hand tools are used I still have to select the boards to glue them up and round them off with the mill. set up the mill and crank the mill to move the router to make each cut. I have had comments in the past that sense I am not physically making cuts by hand we might as well be buying them from Walmart.

I use to make videos on a CNC we had and all the comments where not wood working more like Computer programing.

I was not disputing the work you put in to your sticks. And as I said I think your sticks are nice. And I have never seen sticks like yours at walmart. You make one stick in repetition. And you have found a market for those or you would not have the inventory you have on you site. Those of us that sell sticks Just work on a smaler scale and personalize each one in some way. That is the fun in doing sticks for me. I make a number of sticks that are simular but each is spacific to the customer. This is not a criticism is just two different ways of thinking about stick making.
