Who uses flex shaft grinders, Dremels or other power rotary tools for carving? I haven't tried it yet, but am strongly considering it and wonder what tools and burrs you favor.

For a real rough-in tool I use this wheel on an angle grinder. With a little practice you can take off pretty small amounts of wood but you really need a mask and eye protection. It's basically a chain saw after all. They are available in different size arbor holes, and with different numbers of teeth also.
