Good day,
I have been having a problem with the forum sense last week. One, the edit option has not been working, two. I cannot post a Reply normally by clicking on post. I have go to "More Reply Options " then it will post. I have signed off and back on a few times hoping it might reset but it has not worked. I tried to post this in a message to the Administrator but the message function is not working. This is the only site I am having an issue with so I do not think it is my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

This is the only site I am having any issues with. I am disappointed in the lack of response by the Administrator or any of the monitors. I will check back for a few more days but if it is not fixed by the end of the week I will just move on to other forums,

What do you guys use for a browser?

I'm still using the Internet Explorer which came loaded in my computer when I bought it about 7 years ago. I know there are several sites I've been to which now either have problems or I simply can't go to because I haven't upgraded to Chrome or Firefox or something.

I wonder if that might be the problem.

I'm really not a computer whiz, so I worry about changing things and then being unable to fix them when they go wrong. I played with a Radio Shack TRS 80 in high school, but then had almost nothing to do with the things until my former employer switched from a phone system for reporting our hours to a computer system about 10 years ago.

I use Firefox. I'm far from being an expert. Barely computer literate would be closer to the truth. Firefox and chrome are both good.

You can download apps for them like U Block Origin and other privacy apps to keep tracking and ads to a minimum.

I use Chrome and it still is not allowing me to post a response with out clicking more reply options first

It will not let me send or receive messages either.

I don't even get the "More reply options" button now. It looks like this when I click on a topic and I have to click on the "Reply to this topic" (red arrow) to write anything. It works the same as the more reply options button used to with the ability to add a picture from my files, though.

The site is loading very slowly, and in some browsers (Safari) never completely.
I am using Google Chrome now, there there are no problems for me, aside from the slow loading.

Maybe the site owners have upgraded or changed the software and it does not support some browser versions any more.
The moderators/administrators could have done a better job communicating, for sure, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt - they might have personal problems or might be on a long vacation, and there might be no other one to take over.

Please don't leave yet, this will be a great loss to this community.

After several successful posts today, I have just experienced the same problem some of you described earlier:

I was unable to post directly.

I posted my previous post by clicking on the More Reply Options.

The post went through, but the program inserted some characters where I had originally just an empty line.

Evidently the site program does not work.

I had the same problem with this post too. Using the More Reply Options feature again.

Sorry guys did this get fixed? If not bare with me and I will locate admin and have them address it. I apologize to you as being one of the mods on here I haven’t been on all that much lately.

So this site has some very busy sister sites that have a much larger admin team to handle the member load. I have reached out to their admin team who run this site as well for some assistance in getting the issue resolved.
One of the reasons this site is not monitored as much is because of all of you. We are a well behaved group that doesn't need as much monitoring and policing. However, other problems do occur occasionally like this one and need addressing. Thank you for your continued patience.

I need some help here guys please. We got some help here from Admin and need to see if that's fixed the problem.
Mine has always worked here without issue so if a couple of you could let me know if we're were having problems with it
that would be great?

Mine has been working fine. any problems I have are on my end. Old, slow computer running a slowly dying Windows XP.

It was CV3 that was frustrated with the site.
