This may not interest some of you I work in a sawmill as a Utilities supervisor (clean up crew) we averaged cutting 550,000 to 580,000 bord feet in a 10 hour day
today we broke our old record for production, Today we cut 641,149 our old record was 640,000 we do cut just over 620,000 2 our 3 days a month but not much more this averages out to be 70 to 75 truck loads a day.

That is some serious output. When you say truckloads that's raw log trucks? I did not know there was that much timber in SW Alabama. We have been through Alabama several times and I remember the foothills and mountains in the northern end of the state as being forested. Congrats on the new record.

It is raw logs straight from the forest we take no logs that are dry or the bark is falling off and some of the logs are coming as far as 120 miles away. We only take the best quality logs cause the lumber we produce is No.2 our better very little No.3 and no No.4
