Just finished this Red Ceder walking cane I finished it with a few coats of linseed oil and and buffed it with Johnsons past wax.

I have been looking for some cedar around here, slim pickings for walking stick sized trees. Most are too shrubby and the ones I could use are growing in someone's yard. HMM maybe some night harvesting h34r:

My Brother is a logger when he cuts a tract of timber he cuts the cedar and brings it to our dad my dad takes it and gets it cut in to lumber for his woodworking projects like gun cabinets, cedar chest and more the walking stick I made was from a scrap piece he had I hope there will be more of this.
