Some of you may have one of these. I had not seen on tell yesterday. It is a "Zip Sander" dense foam sanding block with hook and latch for attaching the sandpaper. It will conform some to the shape of the piece you are sanding. I used it to day on both a shank and a Sheppard's hook topper. I was very happy with the way it felt in the hand and how it worked on the sticks. Not sure how long it will hold up to regular work load. I will let you know if it worth the $ 10.00. But it does mot require a lot of pressure to do the work. As long as the hook and latch does not pull of with the sandpaper it should last a while. I got it at ACE hardware.

I use something similar, rectangular sponge blocks with wet and dry carborundum

on all faces and edges used for car body work and available in different grades, they are cheap and can be cut to required size for specific areas/shapes.
