One of the things I always stuggled with is getting my cutting edge at the right angle or at the angle I want the edge to be. If changing the angle. While I have gotten better over the years it is always abit of a guess. I found this set of angle wedges not long ago. They work well to get my blade started at the angle I want. If your new or that is a issue for you these could help. They go from 10 degrees to 20 degrees. I only use the 17 and 20 but that is what I like. It is nice to have a choice. I am redoing a older blade to 15 degrees to see how it works. At Amazon, Wedgek Angle Guides 10 to 20 degrees

Looks like a handy thing to have. If I ever get into knife work I'll have to invest in a set as I'm really bad about knife sharpness.
