It was something on my mind lately as quite a number of my varnishes and oils are approaching over the two year mark since purchased. So I went "googlin'."

Thanks. Yeah I was concerned with the problems I've been having with finishing if part of the cause might have been expired oils and varnishes.

I dont wory to much about shelf life only my own? Keep rubbing the oil on and on the sticks of coarse

Many, many, years ago (in high school) I worked in a "paint store" and could read the manufacturer codes on the cans that indicated date of manufacture. No idea how to read them today, but there must be a way?
