It seems I've posted this here before but cannot find so here goes. A week or so ago my lovely bride of 61+ years asked that I keep six of my favorite canes, for our six grandchildren.

The day may come when some other more recent cane replaces one of these but as of Dec 13, 2015, here they are. None of them to be sold nor given away.

Got that?

Hello Neb, those are all very beautiful canes. Each one of them has so much character and the fact that they are made from different woods gives them such a contrast in color. If you keep making canes like those, you might have to give each of your grandchildren two canes.

Progress report . . . if all goes as planned guys, that # will increase from 6 to 7. I'll just name it Super Seven or something like that. And perhaps even add another and it'll be Great Eight.

Hey! I'm still the boss of this little adventure.

For now.

Wonderful keepsakes. May take the grandkids a few decades to fully appreciate them, but I'm supposing they will. If I might, let me suggest that you take each stick out for a walk or two. Maybe when the kids use them, it will help them feel and follow in your footsteps.
