The eclipse is starting right now. It's really interesting. The sky is a dark clear blue (a miracle in itself here) and it's starting to get dark outside. Really interesting lighting.
Its been on tv here .it seems to have had a good effect on most people there from small business ,camp sites etc. and amazed how far people travelled to see it but it is once in a life time opportunity for people
It hit its maximum coverage of 81% about 1:30 pm in our area. Scattered storm clouds broke for a bit but thin came back in. Only saw a bit of it. saw more on TV.
We only had about 60% coverage here in Maine. I missed most of it because I'd nodded off in my chair. The one in 2024 is supposed to be 100% for us, so I guess I'll catch it next time.
