It's been quite a while and the spammers keep piling on. It's not even worth checking in anymore. It's a shame. This has been my first stop in the morning for 4 years and the site is pretty much dead. Evey morning when I log on all I see is more spam. Any attempts to post any sort of meaningful content are quickly buried under it.
I found a group on Facebook called Walking Stick Makers". I still don't like Facebook's format but I like spam even less. I can be found there.

I'll keep checking in, but it does, indeed, seem to be a lost cause.

Sticks are welcome at all the woodworking forums I'm in but none of them have a special section for them. Lumberjocks probably has the most stick makers. As far as I know this is the only dedicated walking stick forum in the USA at least.
I'm starting to wonder if something happened with our moderator Sean. He's usually not gone this long. I hope he's doing ok. I'll keep checking in and hope for the best.

One of our former members ( Randy aka CV3) went to this one after the last time there was a problem with this forum. Seems more carving oriented, but some nice stuff there. I've already signed on. I'll have to take a peek at Lumberjocks.

Hey guys. Sorry trying to get rid of it all now. We just don't seem to have the mods we once did here including myself checking in regularly.
I will make a point of policing the site more as we seem to be getting hammered here big time.
I've banned the spammers or most so let me know if you see something i don't pick up on.

Just checking in after a while and it seems the spam is gone! Thanks to the Admins who got rid of it!
