One is zebrawood on a paduak staff, one is mahogany on a cannerywood staff. and two are mahogany on walnut staffs. Three of them are for a canes for Veterans, done as a member of the America National Cane Club.

Wow those are looking great so far. Nice variety in woods. I’ll have to look up cannerywood not familiar. Those are some of rhe most comfortable handles on canes they make. Tried one out once.

Good looking canes Randy. I'm surprised to see you don't do more shaping before you mount the handles to the shanks. I prefer to get the rough shaping done before I glue them up.
I have done it both ways. I hold the cane in my Jawhorse vise witch lets me use both hands and adjust to most any angle.
