Four months ago today (2/17/15) I received a carton containing six marvelous sticks from my brother who lives in TN . . . included were a) Autumn Olive and b) Silver Maple...which I've now made into two canes for my eye doc appointment the 1st week of July. I finished the Silver Maple cane today . . . #66 and counting . . . Cane #65 was shown earlier.

Here's the newest plus one comment - I guess the eyes have it.

<insert groan here>

Finding and then getting those eyeball shifter knobs in the proper position was a tuff job, but worth the effort. I'm ready for that appointment now.

:cool:

Thanx for your fun comments

I had a manager years ago that drove me nuts - almost came to blows with him on several occasions. Anyway, there were times when I would relay bits of good news to him to try and get him off my back. His response was usually lukewarm and always responded with: "Well that's better than a sharp stick in the eye." I may have to send him one of your eyeball canes. ;)
