I love his Smaug pipe.

I've made a couple pipes. It's easy to make a pipe that smokes but difficult to make one that looks good and smokes well too.

Looks like he's nailed it.

Fit and finish is critical on a well made pipe.

I could smoke mine but never got it perfect-or even came close.

Briar is a nice wood to work with. It holds detail well and would be good as a handle too if you get a piece big enough.
