Tree forks

Tree forks are magical

They are magical to me

They grow in scarcity

On any kind of tree

Occasionally they are angled

Equally from the stem

These are the ones to look for

And take them home again

Others are rounded

In the bottom of the fork

Are more comfortable to hold

When you take them for a walk

Be patient and dry them

Over a period of weeks

While waiting choose a shank

So the two can meet

When ready, drill them

To make a metal pin

Drill the shank and join them

And go for a walk again
