One problem I have with twisted sticks is cleaning out inside the twist. What do all of you use to do that?

Great Twisted stick, well done

They don't grow here so I'm not sure how they do it.

Twisty's are normally formed by Honesuckle or any climbing clinging vine growing round the sapling, as the sapling grows the vine bites in thus forming the twist - these can be created (in time) if you have any fast growing stock, viz. Hazel by finding a young shoot and creating the spiral using a reasonable gauge Copper Wire then just waiting, ps don't forget where it is as this happened to a friend of mine, wet back after a couple of years and couldn't find it.
